The Israeli Cultural Center under the Embassy of the State of Israel has been operating in Odesa since 1992.
The main objectives of the Center are to promote Israeli culture, provide accurate and up-to-date information about various aspects of life in Israel—its culture, history, traditions, economy, politics, and achievements—and ensure bilateral communication between the Government of the State of Israel and the Jewish diaspora in Ukraine.
The Israeli Cultural Center carries out a number of cultural and educational projects:
Hebrew Language Learning Center. Hebrew is the language of modern Israel, the language of the Bible, and a path to the future.
Holocaust Studies Projects – lecture courses, seminars, trips to the sites of mass Jewish exterminations.
Leadership Projects – seminars, training sessions, lectures, meetings.
“Masa” – a unique opportunity for education and academic internships at selected universities in Israel.
Youth Club “Tzofim” using scouting methods.
Cooperation with universities in Southern Ukraine – Center branches, Israeli Culture Days, cultural and educational projects, and more.
Cultural events – exhibitions, lectures, hobby clubs, concerts, field trips, seminars, and much more.
